Medusoft Vulnerability assessment

During a Medusoft Vulnerability Assessment, we will scan the network to map vulnerabilities in:

• Common software such as Adobe, McAfee, Symantec, MS Office
• Hardware such as printers, switches, servers, laptops and wireless access points
• The lack of passwords or other security requirements
• Inadequate security policies

As well as mapping the vulnerabilities of the network, the vulnerability assessment also provides insights into the increased risks faced by your network as a result of current threats. By weighing up the vulnerabilities on the one hand and the threats on the other, it is possible to assess the risk and the consequences for your organisation.

After we have performed the Vulnerability Assessment, you will receive a detailed report of our findings. Based on the results and our recommendations for modifying your security policy, you can then decide which changes you wish to implement. If required, Medusoft can draw up a cost analysis based on this report. This will allow you to make a well-considered decision about which risks should be covered.
