Identity Management

In general, the access management of systems and applications consists solely from the combination of username and password. In order to maintain an overview of the sea of login data, 80% of employees use easy to remember passwords or even the same password for several systems and applications. All in all, access security of a network is only as strong as its weakest password.

Thorough identity and access management (IAM) is therefore essential in securing the network and corporate data. Who may receive access to the network? How is this access granted? Are these people truly who they say they are and can they obtain the correct information? IAM not only helps make the network safer but makes authorization management easier and better organized.
